Animal Ark is a 48-page picture book celebrating the beauty, diversity, and fragility of the animal world. Striking animal portraits on black or white backgrounds pair with poetic haiku for an engaging, kid-friendly design. Playful typography adds energy, while large images highlight intricate details. Contrast in color, size, and texture creates visual rhythm. To showcase the multitude of endangered species, gatefold photo galleries are used at the book’s beginning, middle, and end. A second poem is nestled inside the book’s center gatefold.
